Why Brand Identity
Matters

Credentials & Recognition

Test Horizon Academy has earned a 9 out of 10 rating from GreatSchools for three consecutive years, placing it among the most trusted K through 8 charter schools in Denver. With a full-time special education coordinator, a part-time ESOL specialist, and honors math beginning in 6th grade, the school's academic infrastructure is built to serve every learner at a high level.

Retention & Culture

Families stay at Test Horizon Academy because they feel it working. Individualized learning plans, a 16 to 1 student to teacher ratio, and strong parent communication create an environment where scholars are known, supported, and genuinely invested in. Parents who experience the culture become its most effective advocates, driving organic enrollment growth through real trust.

Growth Opportunity

With 275 students enrolled against a target of 330 and a capacity of 400, Test Horizon Academy has meaningful room to grow. Kindergarten and 7th grade seats are the most urgent priority for the current school year, with an application deadline of February 15, 2027. Free bus service within a 7 mile radius removes the last practical barrier for Denver families who are ready to choose better.

Top Parent Objections — Addressed

1
Does my child need to pass a test to get in? No entrance exam is required. Test Horizon Academy is open enrollment. Families simply submit an online application with a birth certificate, proof of residency, and immunization records.
2
What makes this different from a district school? A 16 to 1 student to teacher ratio, a one to one Chromebook program for grades 2 through 8, weekly enrichment blocks, and individualized learning plans are things most district schools cannot offer at this scale.
3
How do you support my child if they are struggling? Every student has access to weekly small group intervention sessions and a full time special education coordinator. No child falls through the cracks here.
4
Can my child get to school without a car? Yes. Free transportation is guaranteed for all enrolled students living within a 7 mile radius of the school, with hub stops at Horizon Park and Maple Street Community Center.
5
What about before and after school coverage? Care is available from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM for a monthly fee, and students can be dropped off as early as 7:15 AM even without enrolling in before care.

Project Based Learning in Action

Capture students engaged in real inquiry: STEM challenges, Chromebook-powered research, robotics builds, and hands-on project work. Prioritize natural classroom light, candid concentration, and authentic teacher moments at a 16 to 1 ratio. Avoid staged or stock-looking compositions. Show the actual work happening inside Test Horizon Academy classrooms every day.

Community, Joy & Belonging

Showcase the diversity and warmth of the Test Horizon Academy community: enrichment day energy, art club creations, student council leadership, parent involvement, and the genuine joy of a school where every student is known. Images must reflect dignity, curiosity, and the pride that comes from a rigorous and joyful academic experience rooted in community.

09
09Communication

Voice &
Tone

01 — VOICE

Curious and Inspiring

Test Horizon Academy was built around the belief that learning should be rigorous and joyful at the same time. Every message should carry that spirit: an invitation to discover, to question, and to grow. We do not lecture families. We open a door and show them what is possible when curiosity meets structure.

02 — VOICE

Warm and Personal

With a 16 to 1 student to teacher ratio, every scholar at Test Horizon Academy is genuinely known. The voice of the brand should reflect that reality: warm, direct, and human. Communications feel like they come from a teacher who knows your child's name, not a district administrator managing a database.

03 — VOICE

Clear and Confident

Test Horizon Academy has a GreatSchools rating of 9 out of 10 for three years running, a one to one Chromebook program, and an extended enrichment day. The school earns confidence. Communications are clear, specific, and free of vague promises. Families deserve to know exactly what they are choosing and why it is worth choosing.

04 — VOICE

Community Rooted

Test Horizon Academy exists to serve Denver families, and the brand speaks with them rather than at them. The voice is grounded in the school's mission: cultivating curious, resilient learners through a community that shows up consistently for every student. Steady enrollment growth and an engaged parent community are not goals. They are what happens when the mission is real.
